2. Summary of the Project
Linzhou City of Henan Province, China is abundant in travel resources. The Red Flag Canal is a man-made canal which is well-known in the world. The Taihang Grand Canyon at Linlu Mount is imposing and beautiful. The canyon enjoys a long history and rich culture. Its particular folk custom and houses make it an ideal place for travel, holiday, sight-seeing and sail-flying. In 2005, Linzhou Municipal Government of Henan Province established the Red Flag Canal Travel Co., Ltd. It is planned to construct the scenery area from the Red Flag Canal to Taihang Grand Canyon. This project is an important part of the travel plan for South Taihang Mountain in the Eleventh-Five-Year Plan of Henan Province. At present, Roads and other facilities in the area have been constructed and put into use. The main part of Linzhou City Holiday Center has been finished. The scenery area from the Red Flag Canal to Taihang Grand Canyon is an AAAA national key scenery area. 1.50 million tourists have visited the area for the last three years. The average annual revenue of tickets is 25 million Yuan RMB. The development of the scenery area is sound and of great value.

  The total investment is 1.6 billion Yuan RMB. The annual revenue will be 84.66 million Yuan RMB. The annual profit and tax will be 57.9936 million Yuan RMB. The payoff period is 6 years.
