平顶山煤业（集团）有限责任公司

平煤集团公司，1955年建矿，是新中国自行勘探设计的第一个特大型煤炭基地，中南地区最大的炼焦煤基地，是全国520家重点企业之一，河南省最大的工业企业。矿区绵延百里，煤种齐全，煤质优良，号称“中原煤仓”。煤炭产品主要有焦精煤、1／3焦煤、肥煤和贫瘦煤。非煤产品主要有建材、炸药、焦炭、煤气、碳化硅、石墨电极、皮革等。公司现有资产总额88亿元，年销售收入60多亿元，子、分公司53家，职工13.3万人。

Brief Introduction

Explorated and designed by New China as the first extra large coal base in 1955, Pingdingshan Coal (Group)Co., Ltd. is entitled to several good names such as the biggest coking coal base of Central & South China, one of the 520 nationwide key enterprises and the biggest industrial enterprise of Henan Province.The miming area, with full variety of coal sorts and good quality coal, extends more than 50 kilometers and is known as "coal bunker in Central China".
The main coal products include coking coal cleans, 1/3 coking coal, fat coal and meagre coal while non-coal products mainly include building materials, explosives, coal coke, coal gas, carborundum, graphite electrode, leather, etc..
At present, it has a total assets of 8.8 billion yuan, an annual sales revnue of 6 billion yuan and 53 branch companies with 133,000 workers and staff members.
It has been for years awarded titles of honour including "Excellent Enterprise of China's Coal Indrstry", "National May Day Certificate of Merit", "The Best Image of China's Enterprises", "Excellent Enterprise of Idealogical Education Work of Henan Province" and "Enterprise Pursuiting to Contract and Promise", etc.. For 44 years, its raw coal production has nearly amounted to 500 million tons and taxes & profits have totalled 4.84 billion yuan. Since 1977, the coal production and taxes & profits stand in the front rank for 23 consecutive years. It deepens reforms positively and improves management, which has assured the enterprise of stable development and consecutive profits.
