对外经济贸易总公司隶属于中石化中原石油勘探局，公司成立于1993年6月，1995年9月获得国家对外贸易经济合作部批准的自营进出口权，1997年4月局外经外贸系统机构调整中重组，为中原油田从事对外贸易管理工作的专业化经营单位。主要负责执行全局所需国外设备、原材料、零配件、技术、仪器仪表的进口引进工作；负责局境外工程所需物资、装备的采办工作；开展进出口工作；经营管理国际型贸易公司。
公司下设办公室，财经部、出口部、进口部、储运部、苏丹贸易代表处、印尼贸易联络处、。现有员工48名，其中高级职称12名、中级职称13名,英语翻译4名、俄语翻译1名。
自营出口的产品包括机械、电子、化工、轻纺、钻井泥浆材料、生活日用品等五大类；出口的国家有苏丹、巴基斯坦、孟加拉、埃塞俄比亚、印度尼西亚、俄罗斯等。
自营进口主要围绕油田勘探开发生产需要开展工作，进口的商品包括石油专用管材、采油设备及配件、钻井设备及工具、油田生产用仪器仪表等十二大类。
97年至99年，共完成进出口贸易总额6160万美元。其中，出口额3100万美元，进口额3060万美元。一九九九年被河南省经贸委、外经贸厅评为机电产品出口先进单位。
ZPEB International, subsidiary of SINOPEC Zhongyuan Petroleum Exploration Bureau (ZPEB in short), was founded in June, 1993, and was licensed to do self-run import & export business by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation in September, 1995. As a unique company dealing with foreign trade, it is responsible for importing and introducing equipment, raw material, spare parts, technology and apparatus & gauge for the whole bureau, and the procurement of the materials and the equipment needed for the overseas projects of the bureau. With 7 departments, including Office, Finance, Export, Import, Transportation, Sudan Trade Office and Indonesia Trade Liaison Office, there are in the company 48 workers and staff, among whom 12 senior technicians, 13 medium technicians, 4 English interpreters and 1 Russian interpreter.
Its export products include machinery, electrical products, chemical products, textile, drilling mud and articles for daily use. Its export business countries cover Sudan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Russia, etc..The import products are mainly used for oilfield exploration, development and production, including tubing for petroleum use, production equipment & the spare parts, drilling equipment & tools, apparatus & gauge for oil production use. From 1997 to 1999, the volume of import and export trade amounts to 61.6 million US dollars, among which export 31 million US dollars and import 30.6 million US dollars. In 1999, it was chosen as an Advanced Unit of Electromechanical Products Export by the Economic and Trade Committee and the Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Department of Henan Province.
