    河南省莲花味精集团有限公司（简称莲花集团），属国家大型一类企业，是国务院确定的520家重点企业之一。现有职工16000名，资产总额53亿元。2000年实现销售收入25．3亿元，实现税利3.8亿元。
    莲花集团是全国最大的味精生产和出口基地。主导产品莲花牌味精己形成年产15万吨生产规模，国内市场占有率达到40％以上。2000年出口味精15000吨。创汇1700多万美元，远销世界20多个国家和地区，出口量占国内味精出口总量的80％以上。“莲花”商标被国家工商局商标局认定为“中国驰名商标”。莲花品牌价值34．98亿元，居中国当今最有价值品牌第19位。
    莲花集团核心技术是生物发酵技术，下属技术中心系国家科委等单位认定的“国家级技术中心”，技术水平多年来一直保持国内领先地位。目前，通过系统技术改造将实现与国际先进水平接轨。核心企业河南莲花味精股份有限公司被认定为“国家级高新技术企业”。
    为迎接市场一体化和WTO的挑战，莲花集团主动参与国际竞争，从1992年打通国际出口通道后。出口额逐年递增，并成功开辟非洲、欧洲、中东、东南亚、南北美洲市场。“莲花”味精远销4大洲20多个国家和地区，并被发达国家的众多消费者所接受。九年来累计出口味精60000多吨，创汇9000多万美元。占全国味精出口总量的80％，是河南省出口创汇重点企业。近年，莲花集团出口业务向多元化发展，出口产品由单一味精发展到氨基酸、BOPP复合膜卷等，将产品直接打入日本、美国市场。

Known as one of the national large-scale first-level enterprises and one of the 520 key enterprises that have the priority to be cultivated by the country, Henan Lotus Gourmet Powder Group Co., Ltd. now has 16,000 workers and staff and a total assets of 4.3 billion yuan. In 1999, its sales revenue amounted to 3 billion yuan with taxes & profits of 0.364 billion yuan, which topped the list in the same line throughout the whole country.

    味精又名谷氨酸，钠盐，是一种具有特鲜口味的结晶状物质。做汤或炒菜时，放入少许可立增汤菜的鲜味。味精属氨基酸的一种，长期食用，可以调节人体的生理机能，并促进新陈代谢。
    我公司生产的味精是以王米或大米的淀粉为原料，经熬制成液糖，液糖发酵生产谷氨酸）谷氨酸再与碱反应生产谷氨酸·钠，然后经过结晶而成，因而绝对为天然成分。
    味精的使用方法：在汤菜将要出锅时放人，放入量一碗汤菜约、1-2(克)。

Our company's gourmet powder is made from corn and rice starch. The process of MSG manufacture: corn and rice starch is boiled into syrup, fermented syrup is made into glutamic acid, and the glutamic acid is made into monosodium glutamate crystal, so our product is a super natural seasoning.
